Purpose of the Position

matteria's website redesign is a strategic project: our site is the first touchpoint for candidates, clients, and partners looking to learn about us. We need that experience to reflect who we are today — an established firm with regional presence, deep expertise in impact, and a clear identity.

The person taking on this role won't just build a website: they'll translate matteria's essence, value proposition, and the way we connect talent with purpose into design. This is a project with real creative autonomy and direct, visible impact on how the world sees us.

Key Responsibilities

As a Freelance Web Designer specializing in Webflow, you will lead the full redesign of matteria's website — from concept to launch — ensuring the final result reflects our brand identity, clearly communicates our value proposition, and delivers an intuitive experience for our diverse audiences.

• UX/UI Design & Site Architecture: Audit the current structure and navigation, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose a new information architecture and visual design that translates matteria's identity, services, and impact into an engaging, functional web experience.

• Webflow Development & Implementation: Build and deploy the approved design directly in Webflow, ensuring a responsive, clean, high-performing site that the internal team can manage independently after handoff.

• AI-Assisted Design & Autonomous Project Management: Leverage AI tools for design, content creation, prototyping, and process optimization to deliver quality results efficiently — working autonomously while maintaining clear communication, organized deliverables, and on-time milestone completion.

Requirements and competences to work with us

Education

• Degree in Graphic Design, UX/UI, Web Design, Visual Communication, or related field.

• Background in UX, UI, or frontend development is a plus.

• Webflow certifications or specialized courses are a bonus.

Experience

• 3+ years in web design and development, with a proven Webflow portfolio.

Knowledge & Skills

• UX/UI design, information architecture, responsive design, prototyping, design systems, basic web optimization (on-page SEO, load speed).

• Advanced English.

• Webflow (advanced, required), Figma or equivalent prototyping tools, AI tools applied to design and content creation (e.g. Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Galileo AI).

• Autonomy & organization: Independent project management — structuring phases, meeting deadlines, and communicating progress proactively.
