We are seeking an experiencedSenior Electrical Engineer to join our growingMunicipal Infrastructure team. This role is ideal for an engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality design solutions that directly support communities through public infrastructure and building projects.
In this position, you will play a key role in shaping electrical designs for municipal facilities and infrastructure while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and project managers. You will also have the opportunity tomentor emerging engineers, contribute technical leadership to complex projects, and work closely with municipal clients to bring practical solutions from concept through construction.

Responsibilities
Lead and perform electrical design formunicipal infrastructure and facility projects, working both independently and as a technical leader within project teams
Develop engineering deliverables includingdesign calculations, construction drawings, cost estimates, and bills of material
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to developcoordinated and constructible design packages
Participate inclient meetings and technical discussions to understand project needs, address challenges, and deliver effective engineering solutions
Providetechnical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers, supporting their professional development
Review and quality-check design drawings to ensuretechnical accuracy, code compliance, and alignment with client standards
Support project execution by helping maintainscope, schedule, and budget alignment throughout the design process
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in electrical engineering design, drafting, or related technical roles
Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
Strong proficiency withRevit for electrical modeling and design development
Working knowledge ofAutoCAD or MicroStation
Strong understanding ofNational Electrical Code (NEC) requirements
Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards including:
NFPA 72, 101, and 110
International Building Code (IBC)
Energy codes and lighting standards
Experience withlighting design tools such as DIALux or AGi32
Strong attention to detail with excellentdocumentation and organizational skills
Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with clients
Must be authorized to work in theUnited States without sponsorship now or in the future
Work on projects that directly impact communities and public infrastructure
Collaborate with experienced engineers in amultidisciplinary environment
