Surveyor Layout Technician

As ourSurveyor - Layout Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring construction projects are built accurately and efficiently. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to quality will support successful project execution through precise layout, field verification, and coordination with project teams. 

In this role, you will work closely with superintendents, foremen, and project teams to support construction activities in the field. Your day-to-day activities may consist of establishing site control and benchmarks, operating survey equipment, performing layout for structures and utilities, collecting as-built information, verifying layout accuracy, troubleshooting field issues, maintaining survey data, coordinating with project leadership, and supporting equipment maintenance and team training.

Your Background

• Previous layout experience and knowledge with design software and robotics/GPS instrumentation in commercial construction, preferred
