Senior Manager, Contract Manufacturing

As our Senior Manager, Contract Manufacturing, you will serve as the core operational bridge between Ollie and our manufacturing partners, ensuring our fresh, human-grade recipes are produced safely, efficiently, and at scale. You will drive cross-functional alignment across inventory, procurement, quality assurance, and engineering while sourcing, negotiating, and onboarding new co-manufacturing facilities to support our growth.

This position is performed remotely in the U.S. and reports directly to the Vice President, Supply Chain.

What You'll Do:

• Manage strategic relationship and daily operations at Co-Man sites, including:
• Contract negotiations
• Measuring and tracking KPIs
• Regular performance reviews
• Process improvements to ensure effective service, quality and cost
• Bridge internal company priorities across procurement, inventory, quality, and engineering teams with the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing partners.
• Ensure inventory availability and production capacity are aligned with subscription growth and operational goals.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain rigorous food safety, human-grade, and regulatory compliance across all manufacturing sites. 
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and successfully onboard new contract manufacturing facilities.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to drive line scaling, technical throughput improvements, and yield optimization.
• Oversee unit economics, standard costs, price variances and vendor contracts to maximize production efficiencies and cost savings.
• Oversee the scope, timeline, deliverables and goals for commercialization projects - ensuring sourcing options meet required timelines and stay within budget.
• Establish, track, and report on core manufacturing KPIs to drive accountability and foster continuous improvement across all sites.

Who You Are:

• You have 5+ years of experience in contract manufacturing, co-pack management, or plant operations within the food or pet food industry. 
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• You have a proven track record of identifying, negotiating terms with, and onboarding new manufacturing partners.
• You have experience managing manufacturing capacity, production planning, and manufacturing partner performance against operational KPIs.
• You’re a strong communicator who can effectively align cross-functional teams with external plant management.
• You have a strong technical understanding of food safety, HACCP, and human-grade food manufacturing processes.
• You’re an analytical problem solver proficient with ERP systems, supply planning, and yield metrics.
• You are willing to travel 25–30% for plant visits, audits, and partner onboarding initiatives.
• Experience in pet food manufacturing and/or a fast-paced, high-growth direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand is strongly preferred.
