Our Manufacturing team is at the heart of our operations, creating best-in-class products for our customers. Our facility keeps things moving across three shifts, 24 hours a day, five days a week. Throughout it all, the team shares a commitment to safety, quality and efficiency—working brilliantly together and collaborating across MOO to turn new ideas into products our customers love. This is a pivotal leadership role designed to steer our entire production operation. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring we not only meet but exceed our manufacturing targets for safety, quality, cost, and delivery. We are hiring this position to strengthen our leadership as we scale our operations, launch new products, and implement cutting-edge processes to maintain our competitive edge.

The person we want

We're looking for an experienced, process and data-driven manufacturing leader who excels at motivating teams and solving complex problems.
You are a natural collaborator, comfortable working with engineering, supply chain, and quality departments to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and support Supervisors and Team Leads across three shifts, helping every team perform at its best.
Take a data and process-led approach to delivering our Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale goals.
Stay flexible and respond quickly to changing priorities, making smart day-to-day decisions that keep performance on track.
Create short-and medium-term plans that support Manufacturing’s long-term goals.
Build an engaged and motivated workforce through regular coaching, meaningful recognition and professional development.
Work closely with Operations, Customer Service and Product teams to solve challenges and deliver better results.
Embed a culture of continuous improvement—strengthening performance, reducing waste and making our ways of working simpler and more consistent.
Lead standardization projects that improve efficiency and create lasting change.
Manage staffing, resources and labor budgets effectively, balancing operational needs with cost efficiency.
Champion a safety-first culture and help create an environment where everyone can do their best work safely.
Lead the smooth introduction of new products, processes and equipment into Manufacturing.

About You

Problem Solving:

You’re a practical and analytical problem-solver who can get to the root of complex manufacturing challenges.
You bring proven LEAN experience and a continuous-improvement mindset, with a track record of improving processes, reducing waste and strengthening KPIs.
You’re comfortable solving problems in high-mix, high-volume production environments.

Decision Making:

You make clear, timely decisions using data, operational insight and sound judgement.
You’re confident balancing Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale when making decisions.
You can adapt your approach as priorities change, staying calm and effective in a fast-moving environment.

Planning, Prioritising and Process:

You bring experience managing online print, finishing workflows or similar manufacturing operations.
You plan and prioritise effectively, balancing immediate operational needs with longer-term goals.
You build clear, consistent and scalable processes that help teams deliver great work efficiently.

Good Coach and Mentor:

You bring leadership experience and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.
You’re a thoughtful coach and mentor who provides clear, constructive feedback and meaningful recognition.
You support leaders and team members in building their confidence, capability and performance.

Leadership:

You set a clear direction for your team and help people understand how their work contributes to wider Manufacturing and MOO goals.
You turn strategic goals into practical plans, measurable outcomes and clear expectations.
You have a proven track record of improving operational performance and delivering against KPIs.
You create clarity, trust people to deliver and give them the ownership they need to do their best work.
You know when to offer support and when to step back—leading without micromanaging.
You communicate clearly and confidently at every level, creating an environment where people feel comfortable contributing ideas and challenging how things are done
You set clear expectations and hold meaningful conversations about performance, growth and development.
You help people understand their strengths, identify development opportunities and build practical plans for career progression.
You balance care and support with clear accountability, helping individuals and teams perform at their best.
You understand how team structures, responsibilities and ways of working need to evolve as the business grows.

Degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business.
