We’re looking for afront-end-focused full-stack Software Engineer to build intuitive, high-quality user experiences while contributing to backend services that support and scale them.

You will play a key role in developing and scaling our underwriting team experience, owning features from design through deployment and collaborating closely with design, product, and backend teams to deliver scalable, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in all phases ofagile software development, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
Build and evolve high-performance frontend applications usingNext.js, with a focus onusability and scalability
Contribute to backend services usingNode.js and NestJS, supportingRESTful APIs and workflows
ApplyOOP principles and modernJavaScript (ES6+) to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Architect systems optimized forspeed, scalability, and reliability
Collaborate with design, product, backend, and underwriting teams to deliver user-centered features
Research, prototype, and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve our development workflow
Collaborate with a hybrid, globally distributed team across time zones using Slack, GitHub, shared documentation, and Zoom

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3-5+ years building modern, scalableReact-based web applications; experience withNext.js is a plus
Strong experience withTypeScript,Node.js, and RESTful API design
Solid understanding ofOOP and modernJavaScript (ES6+)
Experience withTDD and automated testing frameworks
Experience withAWS or cloud-based infrastructure
Bonus: NestJS, WebSockets, Ruby on Rails, and/or Python experience
