The Opportunity:
- We are seeking experiencedTax Managers andSenior Tax Managers to join our growing Property / Real Estate Tax team.
- The ideal candidate for our Property Tax team will be undertaking tax engagements for clients and providing them with high quality specialist tax advice and services in the property space, including transaction support, structuring, tax advisory and compliance.
- Successful candidates will ideally be based in a location where KPMG has an office. However, we are open to flexible working for the right candidate.
Day To Day You Will:
- Manage and mentor junior tax specialists to ensure clients receive the highest level of service.
- Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation, relevant to Property Tax.
- Conduct thorough research and apply findings to provide well-analysed tax opinions and practical advice.
- Advising clients on specific tax implications, applying an understanding of legislation, case law, and financial information.
- Collaborate with other teams within the firm, beyond the Tax team to provide holistic solution(s) to clientsâ.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including private equity, investment banks, law firms, and tax authorities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by acting as a trusted advisor and managing communications in a timely and effective manner.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, processes, and procedures.
What You'll Bring To The Team:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Taxation, Law, or Accounting
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Tax Advisory roles. Experience in the property sector is a bonus. Â
- Knowledge of tax legislation and case law
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively advise clients.
- Competent user of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and mentor more junior tax specialists.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
