About The Role:
As anMRO Propulsion Engineer you will take ownership of the maintenance, refurbishment, and overhaul (MRO) lifecycle of our F100 engines—including acceptance testing. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll work side-by-side with passionate engineers and technicians to keep our propulsion systems performing at their best. Responsibilities
Own all or a significant portion of the F100 MRO lifecycleÂ
Collaborate daily with cross-disciplinary engineers and techniciansÂ
Drive high-quality, safe, and efficient refurbishment processesÂ
Support testing campaigns and engine acceptance activitiesÂ
Contribute to a fast-paced environment where engineering and execution come togetherÂ
Requirements
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Aerospace or Mechanical EngineeringÂ
3+ years of F100 MRO experience, or experience with a similar-thrust class engineÂ
2+ years of professional experience designing flight propulsion hardwareÂ
Strong engineering fundamentals in:Â
- CombustionÂ
- ThermodynamicsÂ
- Heat transferÂ
- Fluid dynamicsÂ
- Structural dynamicsÂ
- Materials scienceÂ
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 6+ years of F100 MRO or equivalent experience
- 4+years designing jet or rocket propulsion hardware with CAD +GD&T
- Proven responsibility for flight-proven hardware
- Â Experience with: air-breathing combustors, augmenters, ignition systems, variable-area nozzles, turbomachinery, high-temperature mechanical assemblies
- Siemens Teamcenter + NX
- ANSYS
- High-temperature alloy design and manufacturing
- Additively manufactured metal alloys
- Jet fuel experience
- Generating work instructions and managing nonconformances
- Instrumentation selection and usage for ground or flight test
- Hands-on experience with machining, welding, or hardware integration
- Hardware certification for flight operations, including test asset development Â
