Join Aprio's Tax Operations team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio LLC is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for aTax Administrator to join their dynamic team. This position is based full-time in our Phoenix office, with on-site attendance required Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Schedules and organizes complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities for all members of the department.Â
- Deliver tax returns, extensions and estimates in both electronic and paper formatÂ
- Preparation of zero extensions in tax softwareÂ
- e-Filing of tax returnsÂ
- Coordination of receipt of signed e-File authorizationsÂ
- Preparing and proofreading correspondence to include client engagement letters and response letters to the IRS and various tax authoritiesÂ
- Possess a general understanding of invoicing and reporting in a professional services environment Â
- Preparation of expense reportsÂ
- Handling confidential correspondence and files and new client set upÂ
- Coordinating and managing workflow with the teamÂ
- Managing due date reporting for meeting IRS/Tax authorities deadlineÂ
- Management of partner prospects and leadsÂ
- Reporting in various programs Â
- Creation of reports in Microsoft Excel with the ability to format, create intermediate formulas, charts, and graphsÂ
- Support with processing of certified mailÂ
- Assist in front desk/receptionist rotationÂ
Qualifications:
- 5+ years Administrative Experience; experience in a Tax Practice is a plusÂ
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel.  More importantly, the ability to be resourceful in learning Excel features and formulasÂ
- Intermediate to Advanced Power Point and WordÂ
- Technology SavvyÂ
- Great interpersonal skill
- Skilled at managing upwardsÂ

- Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiencyÂ
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced and time sensitive office environmentÂ
- Proficiency in multi-tasking and prioritizing using strong problem-solving skills and the ability to self-directÂ
- Aptitude for working with a diverse group of important external clients as well as internal associates at all levels of the organizationÂ
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessaryÂ
- Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely mannerÂ
- Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and callsÂ
- Acts as the ambassador of the departmentÂ
- Ability to work independently and acts as project manager on special projectsÂ
- Proofreads for spelling, grammar and formatting, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copyÂ
- Ability to learn quickly and become proficient with Aprio's Windows based applications
