Aprio is seeking aTax Associate to join our growing tax practice and support a diverse portfolio of compliance and consulting client engagements. In this role, you will prepare tax returns across multiple entity types, contribute to client tax planning discussions, and build meaningful professional relationships — including with our Mandarin- and Cantonese-speaking client community.

You will work alongside experienced tax professionals and receive mentorship that supports your technical development and CPA journey. Key Responsibilities

  • Apply technical tax accounting knowledge to support compliance and consulting client engagements
  • Prepare tax returns including Forms 1065, 1120, 1120-S, and 1040
  • Participate in the tax planning and consultation process for clients
  • Engage in professional development activities, including training sessions and networking events
  • Collaborate closely with senior team members and firm leadership across client engagements

Candidate Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of public accounting experience; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
  • Some exposure to the preparation of tax returns preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field strongly preferred
  • Bilingual fluency in Mandarin (or Cantonese) and English required; must be able to communicate professionally with clients in writing, virtually, and in person
  • Strong accounting, analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Willingness to travel on a limited basis
