Aprio is seeking a Manager, Government Contract Compliance to serve as a trusted advisor to government contractors navigating the complexities of federal acquisition compliance. You will manage client engagements across a broad range of contracting compliance matters — from cost proposal support and pricing strategy to FAR/DFARS interpretation and contract negotiations. This role offers the opportunity to build lasting client relationships, contribute to thought leadership in the government contracting community, and deliver meaningful outcomes for clients operating across federal contract vehicles. Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), including agency supplements and key provisions under FAR Parts 3, 12, and 15
  • Support government contractor proposal development, including RFP analysis, cost proposal volume management, pricing, and estimating systems
  • Provide guidance on purchasing systems, representations and certifications, and GSA Schedule and GWAC task orders
  • Lead negotiations with Contracting Officers on cost/price issues and contract terms and conditions
  • Manage client engagements and concurrent projects with a focus on quality delivery and responsiveness
  • Represent Aprio externally through participation in professional organizations, conferences, speaking engagements, blogging, and industry publications

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; background in accounting or finance preferred
  • 5–9 years of experience in government contract management, compliance, or advisory services
  • Familiarity with FAR and DFARS provisions and clauses
  • Working knowledge of Small Business Administration (SBA) rules
  • Demonstrated experience in a client-facing, consultative role, including interaction with C-suite executives
  • Preferred: relevant certifications in government contracting or acquisition
