Aprio is seeking aManager, Client Accounting & Advisory Services | Tax to lead a team of skilled tax professionals and deliver high-impact advisory solutions to a diverse client portfolio. In this role, you will drive tax strategy, guide clients through complex challenges, and build lasting relationships grounded in technical excellence and trusted advice. You will play a central role in helping clients navigate an evolving tax landscape—from compliance to strategic planning—while developing and mentoring the next generation of tax talent at Aprio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, delegating responsibilities and overseeing quality of deliverables
  • Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with current laws, regulations, and client objectives
  • Provide consulting services on complex tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and corporate restructuring
  • Conduct ongoing tax research to identify planning opportunities and stay current with regulatory changes
  • Prepare and review tax returns for clients, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with applicable tax laws
  • Communicate with clients, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to manage and resolve tax-related matters effectively
  • Manage and grow client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service delivery
  • Train, mentor, and support the professional development of team members

Candidate Qualifications

    Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 6+ years of federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in a public accounting environment
  • Experience with S-Corp, Partnership, Individual, and Corporate tax returns
  • Proficiency in tax software and technology platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing or leading a team
    • Preferred:
  • Master's degree in Taxation
  • CPA license
