AJAX SYSTEMS - PRODUCTION ENGINEER (3 SHIFTS)

Job Title: Production Engineer ( Group Leader ) 

Work Schedule: Full-Time / 3-Shift Rotational System

Location: Istanbul / Tuzla (DESBAS - Free Zone)

Reporting To: Production Manager

Our team comprises over 2,200 employees, including 500+ developers and 1,200+ production workers.

For our expanding manufacturing operations in Istanbul DESBAS (Tuzla), we are looking forSMT Production Engineers to manage ourSMT production lines, optimize processes, and lead shift teams within a3-shift system.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth, orderly, and continuous operation of the SMT production line,

• Respond quickly and effectively to technical failures on the SMT line to prevent downtime and line disruptions,

• Propose and implement process improvements (Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen) to increase production efficiency and quality,

• Prepare maintenance and failure reports and present them to upper management,

• Monitor internal processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and quality standards,

• Facilitate strong communication across shift teams to achieve department KPIs and performance targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or related technical disciplines,

• Experience: Minimum3 years of hands-on experience on SMT production lines in the electronics manufacturing industry,

• Shift Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work in a3-shift system,

• Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of SMT technology, line layout, rapid troubleshooting/intervention, and maintenance reporting,

• Methodologies: Solid understanding of continuous improvement tools (Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, Kaizen, 5S) and ISO 9001 standards,

• Language Skills: Business-level fluency in both English and Turkish (written and spoken),

• Key Traits: Strong team player, solution-oriented, analytical thinker, responsible, and motivated toward continuous process development.
