Post-Doctoral Fellow – Montaner Lab (NK Immunotherapy)

The Wistar Institute has an opening for a highly motivated Post-Doctoral Fellow to join the laboratory of Dr. Luis Montaner in the HIV Cure and Viral Diseases Center focused on advancing NK-based immunotherapy strategies. The Montaner lab combines virological and immune system-based research through long-standing community partnerships and clinical trials research, along with using laboratory models of virus infection.

The laboratory focuses on:

• Regulation of NK and innate immunity.
• Exploring interface between persistence of HIV reservoirs and immune detection.
• Developing strategies for control of HIV-1 infection.

Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent with a strong background in NK biology, HIV virology, cellular  immunology, and molecular/cellular biology. Experience with bioinformatics, microscopy, and flow cytometry is a plus.
