Technical Research Administrator- Insurance- Total Loss- Remote within US

About the Role

At OEC, accurate content is what makes our customer-facing application trusted. In this role, you'll partner with internal teams to research regulatory and business requirements, turn those findings into application content, and keep it accurate, current, and working as intended. You'll also own quality assurance and escalated support so every user has a high-quality experience.

What You'll Do

• Track regulatory updates and communicate changes through revised reference materials and documentation.
• Research regulatory requirements and create and maintain detailed business and compliance requirements documentation.
• Partner with internal teams to validate regulatory information and ensure it aligns with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews with accurate, readily available documentation.
• Implement configuration changes using functional language based on business requirements, and maintain related code development documentation.
• Spot opportunities to simplify workflows, remove bottlenecks, and improve speed, quality, and application efficiency.
• Perform manual and automated QA, verifying research and confirming business rules work consistently in practice.
• Provide escalated application support for assigned products.
• Lead customer setup and configuration, and join client demos as needed.

What You Bring

• An associate degree or vocational training in business, computers, or a related field, or equivalent work experience directly related to this role.
• 3+ years in technical application support, total loss research, or a comparable role.
• Advanced Excel skills, including writing complex formulas and logic, plus light SQL experience.
• Strong research skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own priorities to meet deadlines.
• A proactive mindset: you take initiative and aren't afraid to speak up with questions or ideas.
• Respectful, constructive communication, even when things get challenging.
• Flexibility as priorities shift, and the ability to thrive in a remote environment with limited in-person interaction.
