Estimating Coordinator 

Purpose: As an Estimator, you are the critical first step in our project lifecycle. You will translate complex blueprints and specifications into highly accurate, competitive bids. Working closely with Market Directors and General Contractors, you will clarify project scopes and ensure our field teams are set up for success. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, self-motivated professional who thrives on managing multiple deadlines and takes pride in delivering precise, data-driven results. 

Responsibilities: 

• Bid Management: Manage the bid pipeline by tracking invitations, prioritizing opportunities, and ensuring all estimates are submitted ahead of strict deadlines.

• Blueprint & Scope Analysis: Thoroughly analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents to fully understand customer expectations and project scope.

• Cost Calculation: Prepare and assemble precise cost estimates using Google Sheets, taking ownership of building out highly accurate Project Unit tabs.

• Stakeholder Communication: Proactively communicate with General Contractors to clarify, discuss, and define scopes of work.

• Internal Collaboration: Work with Market Directors & Pre-Construction to validate estimates and present final cost breakdowns to upper management for approval.

• Document Organization: Maintain highly organized files for all drawings, specifications, quotes, and addendums for seamless project handoffs.

Qualifications: 

• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets (or Microsoft Excel) with the ability to build and navigate complex spreadsheets.

• Industry Knowledge: Proven ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints, architectural drawings, and construction specifications.

• Time Management: Highly motivated self-starter who excels at managing multiple competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical scopes to external partners and internal leadership.

• Continuous Improvement: A strong willingness to ask questions, seek deeper understanding, and positively accept frequent feedback to refine estimating accuracy.
