Sr Trust Officer

This is Hybrid role (4 days in office /1 days remote)

About your team: 

Interactive National Trust Bank (INTB) has received conditional approval from the Office of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC) for the formation of the trust bank. INTB will focus on offering custodial services and securities lending solutions to mutual funds and exchange-traded funds and related services. 

What will be your responsibilities within INTB: 

• Support the Chief Trust Officer in fulfilling fiduciary responsibilities for all custody and safekeeping activities.
• Oversee fiduciary recordkeeping, account setup, periodic reviews and documentation required under 12 CFR Part 9.
• Ensure trust operations comply with OCC fiduciary standards, including annual review requirements, internal fiduciary audit protocols, and documentation.
• Maintain adequate safeguards and controls over fiduciary assets.
• Act as a resource for the securities lending team to ensure operations are consistent with fiduciary obligations.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation, operational logs, and evidence repositories in preparation for OCC examinations, fiduciary audits, and supervisory reviews.
• Assist with the review of third-party vendor relationship and ensure all vendors met OCC risk expectations.
• Provide regular reports to the Trust Committee on operational performance, fiduciary activity and control and risk testing.

What required skills you need:

• 7+ years of experience in trust and custody operations in a regulated financial institution operating under OCC jurisdiction.
• Familiarity with OCC regulatory standards, fiduciary banking requirements (12 CFR Part 9) and securities lending.
• Strong understanding of bank operational controls, internal audit, and OCC examination processes.
