Director of Business Development

As aDirector of Business Development in ourSeattleoffice, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Why we need you:

In this role, you will exercise independent judgment to create and maintain client relationships that will develop business opportunities consistent with AEI’s strategic initiatives, achieved through collaboration with Principals, Market Leaders and other marketing and business development personnel. In conjunction with the respective Market Leaders, you will negotiate and develop consultant/teaming strategies and guide the preparation of specific marketing documents and participate in interview preparation, as needed. In this role, you will continually research and update specific market analysis.

Expertise of our most successful Director of Business Development:

• BS in engineering, architecture or business.
• 7+ years of professional business development experience in a professional services industry preferred.
• Experience in the built environment, including construction, design or owner representation.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to client/prospective client sites and other locations (conferences, etc.) where project development opportunities exist (depends on assignment).
