Fire Alarm Design Manager

To be considered, applicant must be experienced in the design of automatic fire sprinkler systems to include site-survey, field routing of piping, drafting, hydraulic calculations, AHJ submittals, and material listing.  Applicant must be proficient with AutoCad, HydraCad, or AutoSprink programs.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial applications.
• Assist management with oversight, training, and mentoring of design staff.
• Provide technical assistance for multiple projects during bidding, design, permitting, and construction.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project personnel.

Job Qualifications:

• Three years’ experience in fire sprinkler design
• NICET Level II or higher certification
• Must be familiar with NFPA standards and FM Global guidelines.
• Technical understanding of fire sprinkler design including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoSPRINK and MS Office programs
• Texas RME-G license a plus
