Full-Time Driver

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe transportation of residents to scheduled medical appointments, approved activities, and community outings.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of facility vehicles to promote a safe and comfortable experience for residents and a positive image within the community.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance logs and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations and transportation procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift, transfer, and mobilize residents weighing up to 70 pounds in confined areas within a transport van.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work with a highly dependent resident population.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Prior healthcare transportation experience is a plus but not required.
