Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to residents
• Assess residents' conditions and monitor for changes in health status
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans as appropriate
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and resident responses
• Communicate changes in condition promptly to physicians and other members of the healthcare team
• Supervise and provide direction to LVNs, CNAs, and other care team members
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Assist with wound care, treatments, and other clinical procedures as needed
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, safety, and independence
• Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and facility regulations
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Current, active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Previous skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing exceptional resident care
