Are you our new Senior Accountant?

The Senior Accountant will be a part of the Head Office Accounting team and have a key role in ensuring high-quality financial reporting, statutory compliance, and financial analysis. The role works closely with the Finance Center of Excellence (Fin CoE) and oversees the accounting delivery, ensures the integrity of financial information, and provides analysis and insights to support decision-making.

What you will do:

·       Partner with FinCoE to ensure accurate, timely and high-quality accounting and financial reporting and by identifying discrepancies in a timely manner

·       Guide on accounting treatment and validate accounting outcomes to ensure alignment with internal guidelines and instructions.

·       Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data

·       Support and monitor the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for assigned entities, provide input and review

·       Contribute to the preparation and quality assurance of statutory financial statements and annual reporting deliverables

·       Hands on responsibility within defined area of tax reporting (e.g. indirect tax and payroll tax) ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

·       Review supplier and customer invoice postings for use of correct accounts.

·       Support audit processes for Head Office entities, respond to audit queries, and facilitate audit execution.

·       Identify improvement areas in the accounting process, internal controls and way of working and contribute to the implementation.

·       Work closely with the Head of Accounting, providing insights and support decision-making and efficient teamwork.

What we´re looking for:

·       Accounting and Finance experience – 5+ years of accounting or finance experience from related roles. Understanding of financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and Swedish GAAP as well as exposures to areas such as VAT and corporate income tax.

·       Finance function experience – Experience from working within a finance function in a structured environment, preferably in a multinational organisation. Exposure to similar industries is considered as an advantage.

·       Multi-geography experience - Worked in international, diversified businesses, and thus be comfortable working across cultural and geographic boundaries.

·       Experience in financial reporting, financial control and accounting within a multinational group.

·       Knowledge of IFRS and Swedish GAAP, with experience in statutory reporting and consolidation interfaces.

·       Analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret financial information.

·       Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to proactively identify and address issues or inefficiencies.

·       Detail-oriented and structured, with an ability to work closely with the CoE accounting team in a fast-paced environment.

·       Able to communicate with cross-functional stakeholders.

·       Experience working with auditors.

·       Strong collaboration skills that build up trust and reliability.

·       Experience working with ERP system, WorkDay is a plus.

·       Good knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel

·       Fluent in English.
