Director, Product Designer

We are seeking aDirector of Product Design to lead and scale our product design function across multiple product lines. This role will be responsible for defining thedesign vision, UX strategy, and execution excellence, with a strong emphasis on anAI-first design approach.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination ofdesign leadership, product thinking, and operational rigor to drive user-centric innovation at scale. They will partner closely withEngineering, Product Management, and Executive leadership to transform product experiences beyond traditional UI intointelligent, adaptive, and conversational interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Leadership & Strategy

• Define and drive theend-to-end design vision and UX strategy aligned with business objectives
• Establish and scaledesign principles, standards, and best practices across products
• Own the evolution ofdesign systems, accessibility, and usability standards
• Lead the shift towardAI-first experiences, including intelligent, adaptive, and conversational interfaces

2. Team Leadership & Scaling

• Lead, mentor, and grow ahigh-performing team of Product Designers
• Build astrong, innovation-driven design culture grounded in accountability and collaboration
• Drivehiring, performance management, and career development for the design organization
• Partner with leadership to define theorganization structure and capability roadmap

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely withEngineering, Product Management, QA, and Marketing to deliver impactful experiences
• Partner withAI/ML and engineering teams to translate platform capabilities intoscalable, user-centered solutions
• Ensure seamless alignment acrossUX, UI, and engineering teams

4. Product Execution & Delivery

• Oversee the delivery ofintuitive, scalable, and high-quality user experiences
• Drive consistency throughdesign systems and unified experience guidelines
• Ensure solutions aretechnically feasible, measurable, and aligned with product timelines

5. Customer & Business Impact

• Leverageuser research, analytics, and feedback to inform design decisions
• Identify opportunities to improveengagement, usability, and conversion metrics
• Contribute toproduct differentiation and innovation through design excellence

6. Design Operations & Governance

• Establish and optimizedesign processes, workflows, and tools
• Define and trackdesign KPIs and UX quality metrics
• Ensure alignment withaccessibility, compliance, and enterprise UX standards

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience inProduct Design / UX Design, with5+ years in leadership roles
• Proven experience leadinglarge design teams within product/engineering-driven organizations
• Strong portfolio demonstratingend-to-end ownership of complex product experiences
• Deep expertise indesign systems, enterprise applications, and scalable platforms
• Strong foundation inuser-centered design, interaction design, and visual design
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively withengineering, product, and AI/ML teams
