We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic AI Software developer. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic semiconductor environment, supporting and maintaining critical software systems.

We expect

• ExperiencewithPython (and writing production software in Python).Familiarity withsoftwareengineeringbest practices.
• Nice-to-haveJavaScript/TypeScript/React experience or minor-scale GUI/UI/UX development.
• Academical background orexperiencewithneural networks ormachine learning algorithms.
• Nice-to-have experience withAI/MLframeworks such asTensorFlow,PyTorchor with compiler technologies.

Job summary

• Develop tools, libraries and algorithms inPython foroptimizingneural network modelsforembedded and mobile devices.
• Develop tools in Python to deploy, profile, benchmark neural network models on embedded and mobile devices
• Contribute to opensource(e. g.,PyTorch, ONNX, TensorFlow or other popular opensource communities).
• Enableaudio, vision, generative AIand/orlanguage modelsonmobile and embeddeddevices.
• Explorelatest researchandtechnologies.Implementproof-of-concepts or invent something of your own, and pursue a paper or a patent. Present your work on World's leading software conferences.
• Co-develophardware/softwareof state-of-the-artartificial intelligenceaccelerators.

AI Software R&D Team

• A well-established team working together for5+years responsible for a complete SW portfolio ofartificial intelligence products, ranging from runtime libraries to an SDK featuringoptimization algorithms, andneuralnetworkdeploymenttooling.
• Responsible fordesignanddevelopment ofAI-relatedSWproducts acrossPC, mobileandembeddedplatforms.
• Contributionstoresearch,innovation, patentsandopensource software.
• Distributed across multiple countries – US, Romania, China, Germany, Netherlands,Belgium, France, Canada, Mexico,Czech Republic and cooperating with other international teams. Communication in English.
• The Czech team is based in Brno andcurrentlyhas10 team membersranging from juniors/interns toexperiencedsenior/principaldevelopers.
• The team is part of the AI Software R&D department being at the heart of research and software development of NXP
