The role
Based in Tokyo, you will lead field marketing initiatives and execute integrated campaigns in Japan.
Working closely with theregional and global marketing team, this role turns our global positioning, campaign strategy, and ABM framework into sharp, locally resonant programs for Tier 1 financial services accounts and corporates.
You will also manage the regional integrated campaigns budget. This is a strategyand execution role: you will helpshape the regional plan and then run it - designing and executing full-funnel, account-focused campaigns that combine digital, ABM, Sales plays, content, and high-impact in-person and virtual executive events, ensuring every touchpoint is orchestrated to drive meetings, opportunities and revenue in the region.
Office location: Marunouchi Nijubashi Building (Hybrid / Remote-first)
Note: While in-person event execution and face-to-face meetings with the sales team require on-site presence or travel, day-to-day work can be done remotely from home.

What you will do
1. Regional growth & pipeline strategy
Co-own theJapan growth and pipeline plan with the Regional Japan Sales: define target segments, Tier 1 & 2 account lists, key use cases and pipeline goals.
Translate global positioning and ABM strategy into aclear regional marketing plan with priorities, campaigns and hypotheses.
Identify whitespace, upsell/expansion opportunities and recommendwhere to focus marketing and sales effort.
2. Integrated campaign planning & execution
Build and runmulti-channel campaigns for priority accounts and segments (investment banks, PE, advisories and related financial institutions).
Orchestrate digital, content, ABM, SDR and event motions intocoherent journeys - from first touch to executive meeting and opportunity creation.
Localise global campaigns and narratives so they resonate withJapanese buyers, regulations and buying cycles.
3. Field marketing & executive events
Own Japan executive events strategy: C-level roundtables, dinners, briefings, conference activations and bespoke experiences in and around Tokyo and other key hubs.
Ensureevents are not standalone activities butanchored in campaigns with clear pre-event air cover and rigorous post-event follow-up.
Partner with Sales and SDRs toqualify attendees, build the right attendee list, and convert event interest into concrete next steps and opportunities.
4. Sales & BDM partnership
Act as theday-to-day marketing counterpart for Japan sales and BDM teams.
Co-createaccount plans and plays for Tier 1 accounts: target personas, outreach angles, offers, content and follow-up flows.
Equip BDMs withcampaign toolkits (email sequences, call talk tracks, snippets, decks, one-pagers) aligned to each integrated program.
5. ABM & account-based plays
Work closely with theglobal ABM and Digital teams to deliver1:few and 1:many ABM programs for strategic accounts in the region.
Use intent data, engagement signals and sales insight to prioritise accounts and designnext-best-action plays.
Test and refine offers, formats and channels to improvemeeting rates and opportunity creation in Tier 1 buying teams.
6. Measurement, insight & optimisation
DefineKPIs and success metrics for all campaigns (engagement, meetings, opportunities, pipeline, revenue influence).
Monitor performance in real time; bringclear, data-backed recommendations on where to double down, pivot or stop.
Partner with RevOps and Marketing Ops to ensureclean tracking across CRM and marketing platforms, enabling accurate reporting to Sales and leadership.
7. Voice of the customer & market
Stay close to what’s happening in the Japan financial districts - what customers are saying, what competitors are doing, and what’s changing in the market
Share clear, simple insights with Product Marketing, Content and leadership.
Find real customer stories and use cases from the region and work with the team to turn them into strong materials for campaigns and sales teams to use.
What you bring
Native Japanese Proficiency
Business English Proficiency
3+ years of experience inB2B marketing, with a focus onintegrated campaigns, field marketing, ABM or demand generation
Proven track record in end-to-end field marketing execution, including managing physical/virtual events (targeting a minimum of 10+ events per year)
Comfortable operating as bothstrategic planner and hands-on operator – from shaping the regional plan with leadership to executing the details
Strong relationship-building skills; able to become atrusted partner to senior sales leaders and credible in conversations with C-level stakeholders
Data-literate and experiment-minded: able to read dashboards, interpret performance, and proposeclear next steps
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to turn complex ideas intosharp, compelling narratives for senior decision-makers
Based around/in Tokyo with the ability to spend periodic time in person with Sales and customers across Tokyo as needed (expect c. 20 to 30% travel for events and account visits)
