Senior Client Accountant

An established CSP company based in Sliema, Malta, is currently looking for aSenior Client Accountant (Full-time or Part-time) to join their team. In this role, you will be providing efficient and high-quality service to a portfolio of clients.

This is ahybrid role with flexible hours, offering a salary ofup to €50K (pro-rata if part-time).

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and assist with their accounts, management accounts, as well as tax refund-related issues

• Prepare and submit VAT and tax returns, as well as payroll reports

• Prepare payment instructions

• Collaborate with internal auditors

• Assist the Fiscal Unit and prepare documents and reports

• Support liquidation processes, including preparation of supporting documents and coordination with relevant authorities

Education, Skills & Experience

• Fully qualified accountant or currently within one year of ACCA completion

• 3+ years of experience as an accountant in Malta – non-negotiable

• Fluency in English at a C2+ level, both written and spoken

• Fluency in Italian is a plus

• Proven experience in Maltese VAT and tax law

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience working with QuickBooks is a plus

• Organised, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Team player with strong communication skills

• Analytical with multitasking skills
