A caregiver in this position works Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11:30pm, Every Other Weekend on call, Every third holiday on call

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

• Supervise the functions, dailyoperations and caregivers in the Environmental Services department.  

• Provide effectiveutilization of personnel,policies and procedures to ensure a clean,safe and attractive environment.  

• Continuously inspect assigned areas to ensurehigh quality cleaning and maintenance is being performed.  

• Maintain staffing levels and approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests.  

• Ensure cross coverage.  

• Coordinate and provide orientation,education and training.  

• Improve procedures and processes.  

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

• HighSchoolDiploma or GED 

• One year of experience as a Work Leader, Team Lead, Project Manager of Supervisor  

• ABachelor’sDegree maysubstitute the experience requirement  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
• Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment\
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
• Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
• Requires full body motion, including ability to perform work while lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, stooping, crouching, squatting and reaching.
• Requires regular handling and use of disinfectants and other cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Light Work - Exerting 11 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
