Intern- Quality Engineering

Sysco LABS’ enterprise technology is present in the end-to-end foodservice journey, enabling the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network and the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer.  

Responsibilities: 

• Test Case Design & Execution:
Assisting in creating,maintaining, and executingtest cases, and scripts based on system requirements and design specifications; Supporting functional, exploratory, usability, and regression testing efforts 

• Defect Management:
Identifyingand documenting bugs clearly during testing activities, collaborating with developers and QA team members to ensuretimely tracking and resolution of issues 

• Participating in ongoing project work, including testing activities 

• Automation Learning:Supportingautomation efforts byidentifying basic scenarios suitable for automation and learning to develop simple scripts under supervision 

Requirements: 

• Must be currently pursuing orhaverecently completed aBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 

• Strong interest in software quality assurance, including manual and automation testing 

• A basic understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and defect management 

• Exposure to orthewillingness to learn tools such as Postman for API testing 

• Familiarity with programming fundamentals (knowledge of Java or similar languages is a plus) 

• Good written and verbal communication skills 

• Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
