Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilledSpeech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to providehigh-quality, patient-centered therapy services on a PRN basis. This role focuses on helping residents improvecommunication, cognition, and swallowing function.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualizedtreatment plans
• Provide therapy services perphysician orders and care goals
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with regulations
• SuperviseSLPAs, CFYs, and students as appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate incare conferences, utilization review, and discharge planning
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy and maintenance programs
• Conductstaff training and in-service education
• Ensure compliance withstate practice act and facility policies

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree inSpeech-Language Pathology
• ActiveSouth Carolina SLP license (in good standing)
• Experience inskilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
• Ability to supervise CFYs or students preferred
• Familiarity withPointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
