What you’ll do:

• Support andLeadtheoperations teamsandEngineers whenrequiredintheevaluation, trendingand reporting ofinternal andexternal non-conformances toestablish priorities and identifycommon threads aimed atacontinuous reduction ininternal non-conformance occurrences via internal or supplier process improvements.
• Develop, Manage and maintain the development plans for the Quality Engineers in QA.
• Actively review the production environment identifying non-conformity, areas to improvecompliance
• Coordination and reporting of relevant failure investigations and subsequent corrective and preventive actions and reviewing effectiveness of these.
• Work withtheEngineers to collect, analyse, trendand report data onrejects from routine production inspection andQCtests and related processes toestablish improvement priorities and identify commonthreadsaimedatareductioninexternalcomplaints. WorkwithQASpecialists andothersas appropriate toensure that production inspections andQCtestsarealigned with customer needs.

• Ability to lead others when working within a cross functionalteam.
• Logical, inquiring approach towork
• Must be motivated and able to work todeadlines
• Ability to work without supervision, using own initiative, prioritising work as appropriate whilst maintaining a cross-functional team approach.
• Able to make reasoned and objective decisions where necessary and communicate these in an effective manner.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Quality/Engineering Leadership
• Lead and Facilitate Kaizen events/improvementactivities
• ConductQMS and manufacturing audits
