Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Ingram Micro is seeking a seasonedLead Software Engineer (Full Stack) to lead the technical execution, engineering quality, and application architecture of our core digital platforms.

This role requires a full-stack developer at heart—someone with deep mastery in.NET Core, React, and enterprise SQL databases. You will be responsible for guiding engineering pods in designing and delivering full-stack solutions, establishing coding standards, and driving high-impact features for theIngram Micro Xvantage™ digital ecosystem.

While hands-on full-stack mastery is the primary focus, you will also apply secondary expertise inGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture andAI implementation models to ensure our platforms remain scalable, cloud-native, and feature-rich.

Your Role

• Primary Focus – Full Stack Architecture & Technical Leadership:
  • Lead technical design, code reviews, and hands-on execution across both front-end (React) and back-end (.NET Core) stacks.
  • Architect scalable microservices, micro-frontends, and API gateways that handle high-volume enterprise transactions efficiently.
  • Lead database modeling, complexSQL optimization, data layer design, and transaction management across enterprise data systems.
  • Drive engineering best practices across teams: automated unit/integration testing, clean architecture, design patterns, and application security.
  • Mentor developers on full-stack techniques, code quality, and technical decision-making.
  • Experience in using with tools like Visual Studio Code for development, BitBucket as source code repository
  • Knowledge of either Mocha / Jasmine / Jest for Unit Testing
  • Development experience in Agile Scrum model
• Secondary Focus – GCP Ecosystem & AI Capability Acceleration:
  • Oversee application deployment strategies onGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring high availability, security, and cloud efficiency.
  • Identify and architect integration patterns forAI/ML capabilities (such as Google Gemini, GenAI pipelines, RAG patterns, or automated search) to elevate software platform capabilities.
  • Partner with Solution Architects, Product Managers, and DevOps teams to refine technical roadmaps and deliverable 2-week sprint plans.

What You Bring to the Role

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent advanced degree in Computer Science or technical discipline.
• Experience: 5-8+ years in software development with3+ years leading engineering pods or technical teams.
• Core Technical Leadership (Primary Focus):
  • Expert-level full-stack development experience utilizing.NET Core / C# for scalable backend engines and REST/gRPC services.
  • Advanced mastery ofReact ecosystem (TypeScript, state management, performance optimization, and modular UI architectures).
  • Deep expertise inSQL / Relational Databases, data architecture, index tuning, and distributed query performance.
• Secondary & Supporting Skills:
  • Hands-on familiarity with cloud hosting and infrastructure onGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) (GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL).
  • Strategic understanding of how to operationalizeAI/LLM tools (Google Gemini, OpenAI/Copilot, prompt engineering) within enterprise web applications.
  • Strong background in enterprise systems integration, API gateways, and CI/CD automation pipelines.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proven ability to balance speed of delivery with long-term code maintainability and enterprise architecture standards.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical strategies to both engineers and business stakeholders.
