Job Description

Objective / Purpose:

The Training Lead – Indonesia is responsible for building and coordinating all learning and development activities for BioLife Plasma Operations in Indonesia. As BioLife establishes and expands in this new market, the Training Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring that all employees are well-prepared, compliant, and capable of operating to Takeda’s global quality and ethical standards. The role combines strategic alignment with hands-on implementation — ensuring that all training programs support BioLife’s business goals, comply with regulatory requirements, and foster a strong culture of continuous learning and professional growth.


Accountabilities:

Training Strategy and Culture Development(≈25%)
  • Translate BioLife’s global Learning & Development (L&D) strategy into a local roadmapfor Indonesia.
  • Promote a culture of lifelong learning, encouraging employees to take ownership of theirdevelopment.
  • Identify local training priorities aligned with operational goals and regulatoryneeds.
  • Support leadership development and capability-building initiatives as the organizationgrows.
  • Ensure that training strategy supports employee engagement, retention, and long-term organizational success.

Training Design and Implementation(≈25%)
  • Develop, adapt, and implement training programs that meet local regulatory and operationalrequirements.
  • Ensure that all GxP, compliance, and safety training is delivered and documented in line with BioLife and local regulations.
  • Adapt global training materials and tools to fit the Indonesian context andlanguage.
  • Deliver selected trainings directly (especially onboarding and compliancesessions).

Training Process and Systems(≈20%)
  • Establish and maintain a local training management process, ensuring consistent standards anddocumentation.
  • Set up and manage the local Learning Management System (LMS) processes incoordinationwith regional and globalteams.
  • Ensure all training completion data is up to date, auditable, and inspection-ready.
  • Coordinate external training providers and maintain trainer records whereapplicable.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement(≈15%)

  • Partner with the Country Head, Medical Director, Quality & Regulatory Manager, and HR Business Lead to ensure training programs meet operational and compliance needs.
  • Work closely with global and regional L&D colleagues to share insights and align local programs with BioLife’s broader learning framework.
  • Collaborate with line managers to assess team development needs and set trainingpriorities.

Evaluation and Continuous Improvement(≈10%)

  • Measure the effectiveness and impact of training programs using data, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in training design anddelivery.
  • Introduce modern learning methods (digital, blended, experiential learning) asfeasible.

TrainingCoordinationandAdministration(≈5%)

  • Coordinate training logistics, scheduling, andcommunications.
  • Ensure proper documentation of attendance, certificates, and compliancerecords.
  • Support audits and inspections by providing relevant trainingdocumentation.

Education & Competencies (Technical and Behavioral):
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Life Sciences, Psychology, Human Resources, or relatedfield.
  • Certification in adult learning, instructional design, or organizational developmentpreferred.

ProfessionalExperience:

  • 5–8 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably within healthcare, pharma, or plasma environments.
  • Experience implementing or managing training systems (LMS) and regulatory trainingdocumentation.
  • Familiarity with GxP or GMP training requirements stronglypreferred.
  • Exposure to international or multicultural environmentsdesirable.

  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia andEnglish.
  • Willingness to travel across Indonesia to support plasma center training andaudits.
