What You Will Do:

• Position Summary

The analyst will play a critical role in supporting new hire onboarding, employee offboarding, hardware refresh initiatives, asset recovery, inventory management, and asset retirement activities. The role is also responsible for maintaining accurate asset records within the organization's system of record, ServiceNow, ensuring all asset transactions are properly documented and auditable.

This position requires a strong focus on operational excellence, inventory accuracy, customer service, and adherence to established IT Asset Management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Deployment & Onboarding
• Prepare and deploy laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, peripherals, and related equipment for new hires.
• Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure assets are ready prior to employee start dates.
• Validate asset assignments and ensure all hardware is accurately recorded in ServiceNow.
• Support asset allocation activities for employees across the India region.
• Asset Recovery & Offboarding
• Coordinate the collection and recovery of hardware assets from departing employees.
• Verify returned assets against inventory records.
• Ensure recovered assets are properly documented and transitioned to the appropriate asset status within ServiceNow.
• Asset Re-Imaging & Redeployment
• Perform or coordinate device wiping, re-imaging, and redeployment activities in compliance with company standards.
• Validate returned assets for reuse eligibility.
• Prepare recovered equipment for redeployment to new users.
• Hardware Refresh & Lifecycle Management
• Support periodic laptop and hardware refresh programs.
• Coordinate replacement activities for aging or end-of-life equipment.
• Assist with asset retirement and disposal processes in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure retired assets are accurately removed from active inventory records.
• Inventory & Asset Management
• Maintain asset repository inventory levels and stockroom accuracy.
• Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconciliation activities.
• Track movement of hardware assets between locations, users, and storage areas.
• Assist with asset tagging and inventory control procedures.
• ServiceNow Asset Administration
• Update asset records in ServiceNow following all lifecycle events.
• Record asset assignments, unassignments, transfers, recoveries, procurements, refreshes, and retirements.
• Ensure asset data is accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
• Support inventory reconciliation efforts and data quality initiatives.
• Operational Support
• Partner with Service Desk, Procurement, HC, and End User Support teams to ensure smooth hardware lifecycle operations.
• Assist with reporting and analysis related to asset inventories and lifecycle activities.
• Support compliance, audit, and governance requirements related to hardware asset management.\
• Support Software Asset Analyst in a backup capacity.
• Other IT Asset Management duties as assigned

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, Inventory Management, Desktop Support, End User Computing, or a related technology operations role.
• Experience supporting device deployment, inventory management, or hardware lifecycle processes.
• Working knowledge of asset management principles and hardware lifecycle management.
• Experience using ServiceNow or a similar asset management platform.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale hardware asset management programs.
• Experience with endpoint deployment, device imaging, and asset recovery processes.
• Familiarity with inventory control, asset audits, and hardware procurement activities.
