Position Summary

As aSpeech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate and treat residents withspeech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, individualized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Performevaluations within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of referral
• Develop and implementindividualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy forcommunication, cognition, and dysphagia
• SuperviseSLP Assistants (if applicable) in accordance with state practice guidelines
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment as needed
• Maintain accurate and compliantclinical documentation
• Participate incare plans, rehab meetings, and discharge planning
• Providestaff education and in-service training
• Serve as aclinical resource and mentor (including CFY support if applicable)

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree inSpeech-Language Pathology
• Active, unencumberedSLP license in South Carolina (required)
• Must meet allstate and federal requirements for clinical practice
• Maintain continuing education andgood standing with the State Board
• Experience in askilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
• Familiarity withPointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills
