Project Title

Target Traveler Deployment for Enhanced Process Control in Semiconductor Probe Operations

Project Description

Develop and deploy a digital Target Traveler solution to standardize process control and improve execution consistency across Probe operations. The project will focus on translating critical process requirements into an automated traveler system that provides real-time visibility, ensures compliance to process control plans, and enables systematic tracking of key manufacturing parameters.

Project Scope

  • Review current Probe process flows and identify critical control points requiring Target Traveler deployment.

  • Define process control requirements, parameter limits, and escalation criteria with engineering stakeholders.

  • Configure and deploy Target Traveler templates for selected Probe operations.

  • Develop data collection and reporting mechanisms to monitor compliance and process performance.

  • Analyze process deviations and recommend improvements to strengthen process control effectiveness.

  • Create dashboards and visualizations to provide real-time monitoring of Target Traveler execution and compliance status.

Learning Opportunities

  • Gain hands-on experience in semiconductor Probe manufacturing operations and process control methodologies.

  • Learn industry practices for process monitoring, control plans, and manufacturing execution systems.

  • Develop skills in workflow automation, data analytics, and dashboard development.

  • Collaborate with Probe Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT teams on digital transformation initiatives.

  • Understand how process control systems contribute to yield improvement, risk reduction, and operational excellence.

Deliverables

  • Deployed Target Traveler solution for selected Probe manufacturing processes.

  • Standardized process control workflow and documentation.

  • Compliance tracking dashboard with key performance indicators.

  • Process deviation monitoring and reporting framework.

  • Recommendations for future expansion and optimization of Target Traveler deployment across additional Probe operations.

Impact of Project

  • Improve process discipline and compliance to established control plans.

  • Enable earlier detection and containment of process deviations.

  • Reduce manual tracking effort and improve operational efficiency.

  • Increase visibility of process health through real-time monitoring and reporting.

  • Support sustainable yield improvement and manufacturing quality objectives.

Skillsets Required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data analytics tools.

  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, data analytics, and statistical methods for identifying trends, anomalies, and process deviations.

  • Experience or interest in leveraging Generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, AI-assisted analytics platforms) to improve engineering productivity and workflow automation.

  • Ability to develop data-driven solutions and apply AI-assisted insights to support process control and decision-making.

  • Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, process control, or industrial automation is advantageous.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations.

  • Curiosity and passion for digital transformation, Industry 4.0, intelligent manufacturing, and AI-enabled operational excellence.

Course of Interest

The ideal candidate should be currently pursuing a degree inElectrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Duration
