Digital Commerce Category Lead

Job Description:

Job purpose: 

To drive digital category leadership and unlock digital category growth by building strategic customer partnerships and transforming insights into actionable strategies that drive business impact.

Job Responsibilities:

• Unlock digital category captaincy with strategic customers & partners across MEA.
• Drive Customers & Shopper behavior studies and provide insights to enable channel strategy in line with MARS brand strategies and Digital Commerce Vision.
• Partner with brand leads to drive the strategic growth agenda of MARS Snacking & Pet Nutrition, and adapt it across the Digital Commerce space.
• Partner with markets to identify opportunities and co-create action plans to win in priority customers across MEA.
• Drive customer engagement through Joint Business Plans and workshops to elevate digital execution with retailers.
• Provide category and shopper expertise and deep dives to position Mars Snacking as the digital partner of choice with key customers.
• Champion digital category thought leadership to build internal capabilities and share best practices across markets.
• Foster collaboration with Category teams to integrate digital thinking into broader business strategies.
• Partner with Data & Analytics partner and Global Analytics & Ops to define regional data needs and ensure ROI from data partnerships.

Professional Qualification

• Bachelor degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years of proven and relevant experience.
• Experience in E-commerce / Digital Commerce is a plus.
