$52,300.00 - $73,300.00The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
This role is at the heart of UR’s entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem, supporting high impact competitions and events that empower students to turn ideas into ventures. The Ain Center Administration & Events Manager ensures seamless execution, marketing, and meaningful connections between students, faculty, mentors, judges, and external partners.This position reports to the Ain Center Assistant Director.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Engagement & Event Strategy
- In partnership with the Assistant Director, Plan and execute startup, innovation, and competitions, managing logistics, timelines, applications, and judging panels.
- Integrate AI-driven analytics and tools to monitor.
- Understand of award processes and evaluation criteria for startups.
- Use AI analytics tools to track engagement, measure effectiveness, and refine marketing strategies.

- Manage scheduling, registration platforms, and virtual/hybrid event tools (Zoom, AI- enabled collaboration tools) to streamline participant engagement and experience.
- Coordinate mentors, judges, and volunteers, including communications and follow-ups.

Marketing & Communications
- Create content and campaigns across multiple channels (social media, newsletter, emails, press releases) with AI-assisted design, analytics, and audience targeting.
- Promotion and outreach to students, alumni, and external audiences
- Knowledge of analytics tools to track engagement and campaign effectiveness.
- Write compelling calls for applications or participation.

Project Management
- Manage multiple competitions and programs simultaneously.
- Manage complex timelines, conflicting priorities and problem solve to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Other Duties as Assigned
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in Event Management or related field required
- Student Engagement experience preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in higher education preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong project management skills required, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously preferred
- Strong organizational skills required
- Strong communication skills, including writing and editing abilities required
- Ability to lead volunteers and staff who do not have a direct reporting line required
- Proven experience in budget management and financial reporting preferred
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Knowledge of entrepreneurship preferred
