Software Quality Assurance Engineer

The Opportunity:

As a full-stacksoftware quality assurance(QA) and test automationdeveloper, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, agile environment. We’re looking for adeveloper with the advancedskills needed to build test automation and high-qualitysoftware from vision to production-ready system, and to help maturesoftwaredevelopment processes and platforms to a DevOps posture, enabled by modern technologies.

This role is more than just coding. We need asoftwaredeveloper who will use their passion for secure, qualitysoftware and moderndevelopment practices to learn new tools and techniques, including using approved AI tools to recommend and implement DevOpssoftware process improvements, automate testing, configure tools to support securesoftware QA, and mentor teammates. Using tools like GitLab, ReST, FastAPIand others that you may recommend, andsoftware languages, including Python and JavaScript, you’ll build test frameworks, test automationsoftware, and securesoftware solutions that provide capabilities to support customer missions. You'll leverage communicationsskills to coordinate with team members and customers in a fast-paced mission environment and collaborate within the Atlassian Suite of tools. You’ll analyze the needs and environment to make sure the solution you’redeveloping considers thecurrent architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have: 

• Experience with Softwaredevelopment in Python or JavaScript 
• Experience withsoftware testing, including automated testing 
• Experience with IDEs like VS Code, Visual Studio, or Jetbrains 
• Experience with Docker or Podman 
• Experience with Git, RESTful APIs 
• Experience implementing version control approaches insoftware pipelines 
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or an Engineering field and 3+ years ofexperience withsoftware, database engineering, orsoftware testing, or 7+ years ofexperience withsoftware, database engineering, orsoftware testing in lieu of a degree 

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with Cypress 
• Experience automatingsoftware processes with Github Actionsor other automation platforms 
• Experience working with Atlassian Suite, and in the Agilesoftware lifecycle, including Scrum and Kanban approach
