• Full-Time
• 40 hours per week
• Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, with options starting at 6:00 a.m., 7:00 a.m., r 8:00 a.m
• Rotating weekends and holidays as needed by the department

Overview

Job Summary:

Transports patients throughout the hospital for diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural services, and assists with patient care duties as delegated by a registered nurse. Safely transports patients and other necessary items between patient rooms and ancillary departments. Provides timely delivery of miscellaneous items while maintaining a high standard of customer service to ensure efficient workflow and continuity of care throughout the hospital.

Job Responsibilities:

• Transports patients throughout the hospital, assists with in-coming helicopter transports, and transports deceased patients to the morgue. 
• Responds to code blue (cardiac or respiratory arrests) situations and initaties chest compressions.  Responds to patient falls and other emergent situations.
• Complete assigned tasks within department expectations. 

• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
