Mō te tūranga | About the roleWe’re kicking off Fulton Hogan’s first-ever wind farm project in a couple of weeks, and we’re looking for a proven Project Engineer to help get this Amberley-based project out of the ground and running smoothly.You’ll join ahead of main site works to help plan, coordinate and set the project up for success, then play a key role on site as construction ramps up. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility. You’ll need to back yourself, think clearly when plans shift, and make good calls when it counts.We’re after someone already operating confidently at Project Engineer level. Wind farm experience is a bonus, but we’re especially keen to hear from people with strong logistics management andheavy civil structures (not vertical builds) or bridge experience who are ready to take on something new.Just as important, you’ll bring the energy, enthusiasm and adaptability to help lead from the front and mentor developing engineers and site team members along the way.Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

Lead day-to-day engineering delivery on site, with a strong focus on planning, sequencing and keeping work moving.
Own logistics management across key activities, including large concrete pours and other critical-path works.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to deliver safe, quality outcomes on programme.
Mentor early-career engineers and support the wider team by sharing knowledge, building capability and setting clear expectations.
Stay adaptable on site, respond quickly to change, and make sound decisions when challenges pop up.

Proven experience already operating at Project Engineer level on civil infrastructure projects.
Strong logistics and coordination skills, ideally across large or complex concrete or structural works.
Structural or bridge experience that you’re keen to apply in a wind farm setting.
A collaborative, low-ego style with the confidence and people skills to mentor developing staff and work side by side with the team.
High energy, good enthusiasm, and the ability to adapt quickly, think on your feet and stay switched on when the pressure comes on.
