ASC Registered Nurse - OR Circulator

We are currently searching for an ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center location.  

40 hours a week, normally within the hour structure 5:00am-7:30pm. Ambulatory experienceis preferred. PACU experience isrequired.   

TheASC Registered Nurse (RN) will exemplify our organization’s values of Quality, Teamwork,Service and Community.Demonstrated technicalexpertise in orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care.This individualwillis also be responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment. 

Essential Functions: 

• The RN is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations. 

• Responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment. 

Skills and Abilities: 

• Experience in delivering excellent service to physicians and patients andparticipating in high-performing teams 

• Theability tofunction as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited toassisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations 

Qualifications: 

• Graduateof an accredited school of Nursing,College or University. 

• Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse.   

• At least two years’ experience ineitherambulatoryexperience required. PACU experiencerequired.  

• BLS,ACLS and PALS certifications.
