About the Role

We're seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to own end-to-end supply chain operations for a nuclear plant build, includingplanning, sourcing, inventory, warehousing, andlogistics,while leading the implementation of NetSuite's ERP inventory and supply chain modules. This is a build role:you'll design and stand up the systems and processes from scratch while keeping day-to-day operations running, all within a nuclear quality assurance program where traceability and documentation control are licensing conditions.  Please note:This role will support TNC’s greenfield nuclear construction projects and is not assigned to the V.C. Summer project or work being performed through TNC’s related joint venture.

This is a hybrid position based in our downtown Columbia, South Carolina office, with an expected in-office presence of 2-3 days per week. The role has been posted in surrounding markets for visibility, as the hybrid schedule may make the commute workable for candidates living outside the immediate Columbia area.

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance 

• Operate within a nuclear QA program (10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1), applying graded QA controls across safety-related, safety-significant, and commercial-grade items; maintain full item traceability (heat/lot numbers, CMTRs, certificates of conformance) 
• Manage commercial-grade dedication (CGD) with Engineering and QA, including QA review and approval of acceptance; enforce counterfeit/suspect item (CFSI) prevention 
• Assist QA in developing procurement document controls so technical, quality, and regulatory requirements flow down to suppliers and sub-tier suppliers and are verified on receipt 
• Assist QA in developing nonconformance, hold, and quarantine processes (QA retains control); support NRC inspections, ITAAC closure, and audit readiness 
• Administer graded storage and preservation requirements (NQA-1 storage levels), including shelf-life and rotation programs, calibration status of controlled items, and foreign material exclusion (FME) discipline 

NetSuite ERP Implementation 

• Own configuration and rollout of Inventory Management, Demand Planning, and Work Orders modules from current state to go-live, within corporate ERP governance and Finance-approved change control for GL-impacting configuration. 
• Build the item master, multi-level BOMs, UOM framework, and location/bin structures 
• Define and document planning parameters: reorder points, safety stock, lot sizing, planning horizon, and time fence rules 
• Partner with Finance on inventory accounting configuration: costing method (set by Accounting), landed cost allocation, standard cost revisions, variance accounts, WIP , COGS, and project (CWIP) cost mapping, and inventory GL reconciliation 
• Configure nuclear quality attributes (Q-list flags, lot/serial tracking) and document retention tied to items and transactions 
• Lead data migration/cutover, UAT, SOPs, and user training; own the post-go-live enhancement backlog 

Demand & Supply Planning 

• Run demand planning, MRP/supply planning, and a monthly S&OP cadence 
• Manage inventory investment (turns, days of supply, fill rate); own SKU replenishment strategy 
• Lead first-article and long-lead component readiness; manage engineering change orders through the supply chain, including inventory exposure, run-out plans, and supplier requalification 

Inventory, Warehousing & Logistics 

• Drive inventory accuracy via cycle counting; own physical inventory reconciliation to GL on the monthly close calendar with adjustments posted timely and root-caused 
• Define and manage receiving, inspection routing, put-away, and kitting and material issue to work packages in the field; manage inbound and outbound logistics, freight, and trade compliance 
• Enforce PO and receiving discipline supporting AP three-way match: timely and accurate receipts, month-end receiving cutoff, and goods-received-not-invoiced (GRNI) accrual support; maintain segregation of duties across requisitioning, receiving, and payment 
• Manage excess/obsolete inventory disposition (quarterly E&O reserve analysis to Finance; write-offs approved per delegation of authority) and 3PL relationships 

Reporting & Leadership 

• Build KPI dashboards and reporting in NetSuite 
• Use AI and automation to eliminate manual supply chain work; own the quality of supply chain data feeding Nuclear Operating System (NOS) 
• Own the supply chain budget and inventory investment plan, with monthly variance reporting and reforecasts to Finance 
• Mentor and develop supply chain, purchasing, and warehouse staff 

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, industrial engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
• 5+ years progressive supply chain experience, including 2+ years in management/team lead 
• Hands-on experienceconfiguring NetSuite inventory/supply chain functionality (not just using it) 
• Strong grasp of BOMs, multi-UOM setup, and inventory accounting (standard cost, variances, landed cost, WIP/COGS) 
• Experience running demand planning/MRP with a track record of improving forecast accuracy or turns 
• Multi-location/entity inventory experience (transfer orders, in-transit inventory) 
• Working knowledge of domestic and international logistics, freight cost management, and import/export compliance 
• Experience controlling material under a nuclear QA program or comparable regulated regime (AS9100, defense, ASME Section III) 
• Command of traceability/documentation control (CMTRs, certs of conformance, nonconformance processes) 
• Experience managing suppliers against written quality requirements with sub-tier flow-down 
• Budget ownership experience; advanced Excel; strong cross-functional communication 
• Demonstrated use of AI and automation to remove manual work from supply chain or ERP processes 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Full ownership of a NetSuite implementation from design through post-go-live 
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) 
• Manufacturing/assembly environment experience (make-to-stock and make-to-order) 
• Direct nuclear new-build, major modification, or SMR project experience (ITAAC documentation) 
• Familiarity with CGD, CFSI, 10 CFR Part 21, ASME Section III procurement, N-stamp/NUPIC/NIAC audit programs, and nuclear export control (10 CFR Part 810, NRC Part 110) 
• Familiarity with NetSuite Advanced Manufacturing, WMS, Demand Planning, or third-party planning tools 
• Lean/Six Sigma trainin

Estimated Starting Salary Range
The estimated starting salary range for this role is $118,000 - $140,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
