As a Consultant on ourHealthcareRevenue Analyticsteam, you willpartner with health system finance and revenue cycle leaders to improve net revenue performance through payor contract modeling, pricing strategy, and reimbursement analysis.You will leverageStrataJazz®as a tool to implement these strategies and drive measurable financial impact. TheStrataJazz®Decision Supportsuiteis rated #1 in KLAS and is known as the “gold standard” for understandingfinancial outcomes. You will partner directly with and provide guidance to key team members and executive stakeholders at the largest health systems in the world. Â
This role is intended for professionals with hands-on experience in healthcare revenue cycle, payor contracting, or reimbursement.This role is nota pure data, reporting, or IT role. Success in this position requiresadeep understanding of healthcare reimbursement and revenue cycle operations.Â
The responsibilities of this role include:Â Â Â
- Partner with customers to design and implement payor contract strategies through modeling reimbursement terms, evaluatingfinancial impact, andoptimizing net revenue performanceÂ
- Modelfinancial impact of payor/provider contract terms, reimbursement changes, and strategic scenarios to support decision-makingÂ
- Advise clients on best practices in revenue cycle performance, chargemaster strategy, and market positioningÂ
- Lead design sessions with customers to define user requirements, configure payor contract models, andvalidate resultsÂ
- Using theStrataJazz® software reporting capabilities, build reports, review net revenue results at the payor and claim level, and ensure accuracy of payor modelsÂ
- Review and analyze customer chargemaster details to provide advisement for trends and market comparisonsÂ
- Collaborate with Strata's internal teams to continuously improve product capabilities and customer outcomesÂ
- Lead onsite and web-based customer training to ensure customers understand specific features and functions related toStrataJazz®Â
- Communicate proactively with Strata team members, managers, project managers, and executives on issues and risks that may arise during customer engagements. Proactively develop and execute action plans to mitigate risks and ensure successful project completionÂ
- Meaningfully contribute to operational improvement and strategic growth projects to enable Strata to continue to scale operations and continually improve our level of service to customers
What we’re looking for:Â
- Experience in healthcare revenue cycle, reimbursement, or payor contractingÂ
- Understanding of:Â
- Payor/provider contract modelingÂ
- Payor negotiationsÂ
- Medicare and/or Medicaid reimbursementÂ
- Clinical coding terminologyÂ
- Chargemaster managementÂ
- Experience leading clients through complex projects with a focus on timeline and budgetÂ
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business insightsÂ
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadershipÂ
- Advanced Excel skills (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, IF Statements)Â
- Willingness to travel within the US as needed to customer locations up to 20–35%.Â
You’ll Really Wow Us: Â
- Experience with creating “what-if” scenarios and building reports and dashboardsÂ
- Experience implementing and configuring software Â
- Exposure to data tools (e.g. SQL) is helpful but notrequired; this role is not a technical development positionÂ
Estimated Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000
Actual salary will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skill set and level of experience. This salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Strata also provides discretionary variable pay programs based on role.
