This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist looking to further develop theiracuteclinicalskillswithinafast-pacedandsupportivemultidisciplinaryteam.Youwillworkacrossacutemedicalwards,supportingpatientswithcomplexrespiratory,neurological,andmedicalconditionstomaximisetheirindependenceandfacilitatesafedischargeplanning.

TheRole

As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing patients within an acute medicine setting. You willplayakeyroleindeliveringhigh-qualityrehabilitation,respiratorycare,andmobilityassessmentswhilstcontributingtopatientflowanddischargeplanning.

KeyResponsibilities

• Undertakecomprehensivephysiotherapyassessmentsofacutemedicalpatients.
• Deliverevidence-basedtreatmentplanstooptimisepatientoutcomes.
• Manageavariedcaseloadacrossacutemedicalwards.
• Supportrespiratoryphysiotherapyinterventionswhererequired.
• Workcloselywithconsultants,nursingteams,occupationaltherapists,anddischargecoordinators.
• Participateinmultidisciplinaryteammeetingsanddischargeplanning.
• Superviseandsupportjuniorphysiotherapystaffandstudents.
• Maintainaccurateandtimelyclinicaldocumentation.

EssentialRequirements

• DegreeinPhysiotherapyorequivalentqualification.
• CurrentHCPCregistration.
• PreviousNHSexperiencewithinanacuteinpatientsetting.
• Experiencemanagingacutemedicalpatientsindependently.
• Strongcommunicationandclinicalreasoningskills.
• Abilitytoworkeffectivelywithinamultidisciplinaryteam.
