Job Overview

We are seeking an experiencedBand 5 Pharmacy Technician to join the team atLambeth Hospital, part of South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in mental health settings, medicines management, and hospital pharmacy environments. This role is essential in supporting high‑quality patient care, ensuring safe and effective medication processes across the service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensivemedicines reconciliation for new admissions.
• Support ward‑based clinical pharmacy services as part of theMMT (Medicines Management Technician) team.
• Work closely with pharmacists, nursing staff, and wider MDT to ensure safe medication practices.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medication records.
• Provide patient counselling and support on medicines where required.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and supply processes across the hospital.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement within the pharmacy service.

Qualifications & Experience

• QualifiedPharmacy Technician registered with theGPhC.
• Med Rec (medicines reconciliation) experience is essential.
• Proven experience as anMMT or within ward‑based pharmacy services.
• Previous work inmental health settings is highly desirable.
• Hospital pharmacy experience required.
