Occupational Therapist – Band 6 (Locum)
Location: Mental Health Services
Contract: Locum – 3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing

Our client is seeking aBand 6 Occupational Therapist to join a high-support inpatient rehabilitation service for adult males. The service provides multi-disciplinary care to support individuals returning to independent living. The OT will work across two wards, delivering assessments, interventions, and supporting care planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialist OT interventions in mental health rehabilitation

• Supervise junior staff including Band 5 OTs and OTAs

• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to care planning

Requirements:

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

• Experience in mental health rehabilitation

• Experience supervising staff

• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills

• Availability to work locum shifts via PAYE or approved umbrella company
