Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with extensive experience in PostgreSQL and database architecture. The ideal candidate will be proficient in building scalable and efficient backend systems using ExpressJS. You will work closely with our development team to optimize databases, enhance application performance, and create robust backend solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services usingĀ ExpressJS.
  • Architect, optimize, and manageĀ PostgreSQLĀ databases for high performance and scalability.
  • ImplementĀ database schemas, indexing strategies, and query optimizations.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of backend services.
  • DevelopĀ RESTful APIsĀ and integrate third-party services.
  • EnsureĀ security best practices, including authentication and authorization.
  • PerformĀ code reviews, troubleshoot bugs, and optimize backend performance.
  • Maintain documentation and participate in team discussions on system architecture.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development.
  • Expertise inĀ PostgreSQL, including query optimization, replication, and indexing.
  • Strong understanding ofĀ database architectureĀ and relational database design principles.
  • Proficiency inĀ ExpressJSĀ and Node.js..
  • Experience withĀ cloud platformsĀ (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
  • Familiarity withĀ containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Ā and CI/CD processes.
  • Knowledge ofĀ Git, testing frameworks, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to caching mechanisms like Redis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
