Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa's farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. Our Rwanda program, founded in 2007 is our largest and operates under the local brand Tubura. We have more than 3,000 staff across all four provinces of Rwanda, as well as in Kigali. Together, we served more than 2.8 million farmers in 2024. We work closely with the government to support national efforts to improve food security. Additionally, we help channel funding and resources to promising agri-SMEs, supporting farmers by providing a market for high-impact crops such as coffee, avocado, and chili.

About the Role

Seeking a Rwanda Data Audit Supervisor to ensure data accuracy and integrity, support reporting, and provide trusted insights to drive informed organizational decisions.

Responsibilities

Data Verification & Quality Control

• Conduct field data audits, data reconciliation, and quality control checks across Phase 3 research activities to identify and resolve data errors promptly.  

Excel & Technical Data Management

• Clean, manage, and structure field datasets using intermediate Excel functions and formulas to maintain data integrity.

Stakeholder Reporting & Documentation

• Document and present qualitative and quantitative field findings in English and Kinyarwanda to keep Trial Owners and Data Teams aligned on quality standards

Field Support & Quality Coaching

• Collaborate closely with field teams to provide hands-on coaching on QA standards and optimize survey execution.

Qualifications

Across all roles, these are thegeneral qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Management, Statistics, Information Technology, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data verification, data quality management, field auditing, and error identification.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, data cleaning formulas, and basic calculations).
• Strong stakeholder coordination skills to liaise effectively between field teams, Trial Owners, and the Data Team.
• Demonstrated ability to document and report field observations accurately in both English and Kinyarwanda.
