HOURS: 1st ShiftÂ
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Based out of our Wixom Division, our CDL-A Truck Drivers pick up goods from our suppliers and deliver them to our customers, building and solidifying strong business relationships. They may also transfer goods between our locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Living Out Lumbermenâs Culture â Leading in and modeling Lumbermenâs core values while creating an atmosphere where Lumbermenâs is âfirst choiceâ of our customers.
- Loading Products â Loading and unloading trailers using tie down straps and operating side curtain trailers.
- Securing Orders â Properly securing all material loaded on their truck.
- Staying Compliant â Properly maintaining their Lumbermenâs-supplied CMV ensuring compliance with required mechanical maintenance per DOT regulations.
- Ensuring Safety â Following all DOT and Company safety regulations.
- Teamwork â Building and maintaining strong relationships on behalf of Lumbermenâs with all those they come in contact with, including customers, suppliers, fellow employee owners and patrons on the road.

This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.

Key Qualifications/Requirements
- High School diploma/GED required.
- CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a forklift (trailer loading experience a plus).
- Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 75lbs.
