Approved Mental Health Professional

Liquid Personnel is recruiting anAdultSocial Worker to join its client’s Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP)team, based in Salisbury. This is a 3-month temporary assignment with potential future temp-to-perm opportunities.

What will your responsibilities be? 

• Undertake Mental Health Act assessments and urgent social care assessments.
• Respond to referrals and complete duty work.
• Safeguard adults with complex mental health needs.
• Work closely with health and social care partners across Wiltshire.
• Provide support and supervision to students and unqualified staff.

Qualifications and Experience: 

To be successful in this role you must have;  

• Current AMHP approval.
• Social Work England registration.
• Experience within Mental Health and/or Adult Services.
• Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding legislation.
